FMP2 Work So Far...

I've been surprisingly good at keeping up to date with getting proper photos of my work done so here's a few from my current project, FMP2. As said in the previous post, it's based on the possessions in my neighbours house.
Overall, I want the body of work to be a large series, perhaps displayed as an installation - but I've still got a while to think about this...

Here's a small selection of my work thus far:

I've been using a selection of clays (Porcelain, White Stoneware, Buff Stoneware, Craft Crank and Red Crank) as well as slips, stains, glazes, lustres and Lazertran. I've been adding text from vintage adverts using letterpress letters, as well as combining various hand-building techniques, and experimenting with different firing temperatures.

Sorry For Being So Bad At Blogging!!

Oh my gosh third year is stressful!! I don't have time for anything but work, but after many problems with uploading photos, hopefully I can start blogging again!!

Coming to the end of my degree now (BOO) which is really scary but also quite exciting. I have three weeks until deadline day when I get back to Leicester so I'm going to be insanely busy but here's a speedy update of some work I've done since the last entry...

Final Piece for 'Final Major Project One' based on domestic spaces and birds-eye-view architectural plans and blueprints.

My current and final project (Final Major Project Two) is based on the possessions in my neighbours house. He passed away last year and his house has been emptied gradually. It was too interesting not to use as inspiration so my body of work is dedicated to him.
