Art Foundation BTEC, 2009 - 2010.

I did an Art Foundation BTEC course at City College Brighton and Hove (2009 - 2010, passed with a Distinction).
I specialised in Fine Art which, looking back, was a mistake; I should have done 3D Design. However, I don't regret it at all. I learnt a lot about painting, sculpture, performance and installation art, which is very handy for comparisons and referencing different fields as well as research for new projects.
Below are a some of the outcomes from a few of my favourite projects:

Pencil tracings from the view down a homemade kaleidoscope.

Sandcast plaster and hessian forms

Inside of a plaster cast

Miiiiight have destroyed one of my dad's favourite childhood books with this piece of book art (don't tell him!!)... But it was worth it, right?!

Slides based on fingerprints.

First dabble in ceramics... White Earthenware slip-painted burnout piece. Very fragile as it only fired to bisque. Wish I'd glazed it at the time because you can barely touch it now!!

Final Major Project based on Bingo.
I towered about 500 folded bingo books to a height of about 6m.
